If the rear of the car is sliding sideways when turning, and you are not hitting the brakes, then you may have a rear brake caliper on disc brakes, or a wheel cylinder on drum brakes that is locking up or dragging. See if the car slides only when turning one direction. if it does, then one side of the rear brakes is locking up or dragging.

Also check the tires for being very worn out or a rear suspension problem.

Check the suspension or the tire pressure.
