2008 BMW 328i throwing three codes
P1727 Coast Clutch Solenoid Inductive Signature Malfunction P0335Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction P0171System Too Lean (Bank 1)... So I'm guessing one or two of these are being caused by the actual problem but which is the real problem??
Re: 2008 BMW 328i throwing three codes
The P0335 crank position sensor A is most likely the sensor is bad. After replacement a relearn procedure will need to be done as well.
P0171 bank lean is usually caused by a vacuum leak or a restricted fuel injectors on that side of the engine. This can also be caused bu the crank sensor code.
Not too sure about the P1727. Does not seem to be related. Since You have 3 codes, that does not mean they all set at the same time. Without a good scanner to tell you when they happened, it is possible that one or two of them were set many miles before one or two of the others. Just because they are all in memory now does not mean they are related or even occurred at the same time.
You may want to clear the codes, then when the engine light comes on have the codes scanned and have that code fixed first.
