1996 Chevy Lumina 3.1 L. I have good fuel pressure,spark and compression. Engine starts then dies about 10 seconds after startup. Restarts but again dies. Noid light stops blinking and engine dies right after. What tells injectors to keep firing? New 24x ckps. new cam sensor,
1997 Chevrolet Lumina. Question: I am having trouble with the Cruise Control. The cruise control just stopped working. I have checked it out with the Haynes Manual and could not find the answer. Does it have a switch on the brake pedal that affects the cruise control?
1995 Chevrolet Lumina Euro edition. ABS Light on intermittent. GM Computer code 42. Replaced rear brake hoses, calipers and pads. Replaced brake master cylinder with a Napa re-manufactured and entire abs/master cylinder unit with a used assembly after that.
1996 Chevrolet Lumina APV. Engine Size : 3400 Question : My van lost all gears fwd and reverse without any signs or symptoms.. But if my transaxle is cold I can go about 5 minutes until I start having problems again. After the engine warms up.
1997 Chevy Lumina that I can't get started.I can turn on the key, all the lights are on, but when I try to engage the starter it does nothing and the headlights blink off. I can jump the starter with a screwdriver and the car will start but the engine will immediately shuts off. I'm thinking it's a key chip code problem, but we have tried two different keys.
My q1997 Chevrolet Lumina LS, 3100 with 289,000 miles would not start. I drove it around to work and when I came back for lunch, it would not start when I turn the ignition to start. I tried numerous things, like turning the gear to neutral, drive, etc., still nothing.
