My 1992 Silverado 6 cylinder turns over but will not run if outside tempter drops below 40 degrees, otherwise runs great, already changed battery, MAP sensor, rotor, distributor cap, spark plugs and wires, knock sensor, fuel filter and checked fuel quality and all fuses?
I have a 2005 Silverado fully loaded with duel control a/c. Sometimes randomly with the temperature set below 70 degrees and inside temperature much higher the Driver side will suddenly start blowing hot air while the passenger side will continue blowing cold air.
2000 Chevy z71 extra cab. Question: coolant leak when I turn on the fan with the AC on or off? leaks at firewall low area , when i shut off the fan it stops.
Answer: It might not be a coolant leak. There is a drain on the firewall where the condensation from running the air conditioning runs out. This would like a puddle underneath the vehicle.
Truck cranks but wont start ignition coil only has one top cap off. Checked to see if fuel sprays out and it does. What can it be? Rotor or ignition coil maybe??? Checked all fuses there all good. Checked all fuses under the hood and on side driver fuse compartment by the door everuthings good.
I had a tranny shop test the transmission with his controller, and he said it shifts fine when hooked to the controller. Told me to change the ignition, but was wondering if there was a way to jump a couple wires to test the theory. any help would be appreciated.

Today I turned my truck on and the ABS light came in. Driving home ABS kept engaging. Replaced one of the ABS sensors and the light will now come on at start up, go away once I start moving then come back when I get up around 25-35MPH. But brakes seem to be working fine.
1991 Chevy Silverado 1/2 ton. 4.3 ltr.Vortec. Question: was looking to install 1997 Vortec 350 in my pick up to replace the v6. Would it be easier to convert the 350 over to a carbeurated engine or try to convert the the truck to a fuel injected engine? i mean could i just take the 350 out along with the harness and computer and replace the v6 and harness?

Question: 2004 Chevy silverado, 6.0L, 2500. I replaced the oil sending unit and now when I'm driving at 70mph or faster the oil gauge needle will bounce around.
The needle will move between 40 & 60, it won't stay at one constant pressure. Is this normal? Does the oil pump need to be replaced? Is it a bad oil sending unit? Thanks for the help!
