1999 Olds Intrigue.

Question: i am wondering my heater and ac is going crazy it will not come on no lights show up on it and i have replaced the control panel where all the knobs are and it still will not come on but i can be driving down the road and it will start blowing warm air but only for like 5 to 10 minutes what is wrong with it i love the car but i got to young kids and not having heat is a big problem i even thought about taking it back to car lot and leaving it there please help if you know what its problem is.

I have a 1998 Oldsmobile intrigue 3.8l and the transmission has a trouble code P0742 - torque converter clutch solenoid stuck on. I need to either replace the solenoid or clip the wire on the connector that has the control signal to the solenoid. I decided to replace the solenoid, which requires dropping the thing out of the car, so I started taking it apart. One of the bolts holding the it to the engine is impossible to reach without pulling the entire engine out of the car.

Question: I bought an Oldsmobile Intrigue with 291,000 miles on it. I was told at the time that it would be fixed and was given a warranty for the drive train-but assured that it would run right. There have been consistent problems with the blinkers stopping or not working, the drivers window not working, and the worst of all codes coming up and it not running right.
